SV Nordlys-Catalina 315
About Nordlys
Nordlys is a 2018 Catalina 315 – Adventure Meets Innovation
Building on the award-winning legacy of the Catalina 445 and 355, the Catalina 315 brings world-class design and engineering into a compact, high-performance package. This yacht comes standard with features rarely found on boats of this size: a watertight StrikeZone™ collision bulkhead, the SecureSocket™ mast support system for unmatched strength and integrity, the DeepDefense™ rudder system for reliable, fail-safe steering, and the T-Beam MastStep™, combining the benefits of a deck-stepped mast with the strength of a keel-stepped design.
Every element of the 5 Series Catalina DNA is present in the 315. From the bold, low-profile cabin design and ergonomic cockpit optimized for performance, to the lead keel for stability and confident handling, this yacht delivers both power and elegance. Visibility from the helm is superb, giving you full command of your journey, while the warm, inviting teak interior ensures comfort and timeless beauty below deck.
The Catalina 315 isn’t just a sailboat — it’s a vessel built for adventure, safety, and unforgettable moments on the water.
If you want, I can also create an even punchier, lifestyle-focused version that makes readers feel the excitement of sailing it. Do you want me to do that next?
